Amperity is more than just the leading customer data platform — THE PEOPLE bring energy, smarts, and experience from all different backgrounds, reflecting our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. THE TECHNOLOGY is multi-patented, AI-powered customer data management software that we invented to help solve problems that have been frustrating consumer brands for years. THE OPPORTUNITY is to hitch your career to a rocket ship. We're addressing a critical market need: helping hundreds of leading brands make sense of massive amounts of transactional and engagement data so that they can understand their customers and provide experiences that delight while boosting revenue and moving the business metrics that matter. Come help us make it happen!

The Role

As a Functional Consultant (FC) at Amperity, you are in a critical role that supports the scalability of the business, focusing on repeatable, consistent, and durable high-quality implementations for our customers. FCs are a client-facing member of the implementation team, sharing knowledge, guiding and encouraging the account teams toward best practices, consistency, and usability in design, development, validation, and deployment of standard data assets and predictive models.

You’ll partner closely with Data Product Management to learn new data assets as they are developed, establishing a perspective and creating documentation and best practices to support the implementation of these data assets within Service Delivery. When predictive modeling is in scope for an implementation, you’ll work closely with Data Science and Predictive Engineering to configure and deploy the predictive models, troubleshoot deployed models as needed, and knowledge share with customers and colleagues.

  • Develop best practices, materials, and processes for implementation of data assets, garnering feedback and making updates to ensure they are effective and useful
  • Educate our customers during implementation as to what we are building, why it’s important, and what to expect throughout the process
  • Validate data assets tables in-tenant, confirm prerequisites for predictive models are met, and configure/deploy models in the predictive UI
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to ensure usability and deployability of Amperity solutions
  • Stay up-to-date on product updates, new data assets, and changes to existing data assets
