We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Marketing Data Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our marketing campaigns by managing and optimizing our marketing data. The Marketing Data Specialist will work closely with the Marketing team and other cross-functional teams to maintain clean and enriched data, support lead generation efforts, and contribute to the overall success of our marketing operations.
As a Marketing Data Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our marketing database and ensuring that our marketing efforts are targeted, accurate, and effective. You will be responsible for a range of data-related tasks, including contact and account cleanup, data enrichment, and ensuring the accuracy of our records. Your work will directly impact the success of our marketing campaigns and contribute to the growth of our business.
As a Marketing Data Specialist, you’ll get to:
Identify and create relevant contacts in line with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
Merge duplicate records as necessary to maintain data accuracy.
Regularly check and update MAU (Monthly Active Users) data using Data.ai/Apptopia.
Verify the employment status and job titles of contacts on LinkedIn.
Update job titles in our system if they differ from LinkedIn profiles.
If a contact is no longer with a company, create a new record in the new account and mark the old record as "no longer with the company."
Find and validate phone numbers for target records, prioritize them by likelihood to answer, and remove invalid numbers using available tools.
Given a list of contacts, research on platforms like Sales Linkedin Navigator, LeadIQ and Cognism, and update their job titles into Salesforce (SFDC)
Collaborate with the team to identify other ways to streamline processes and support Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).
Assist in creating Battle Cards for Strategic Accounts with competition analysis.
Contribute to hyper-personalization efforts for our top 100 global prospects through enriching account data to improve targeting and personalization.
Aid in the conversion of leads to contacts.
Assist in periodic database clean up tasks.
You’ll be a good fit if you have:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Proficiency in LinkedIn and other professional networking platforms.
Experience with data cleansing and maintenance tools.
Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) or similar CRM systems.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
Collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
Able to work hours that will cover US East Coast or West Coast hours.
