About the Role
We’re looking for a versatile Technical Writer based in Vancouver, Canada, to join our Customer Learning team. You’ll be among the first to collaborate with sales enablement industry leaders to invent the future of Highspot’s self-service resources and provide world-class content to our global customer base.
In this role, you’ll design and create robust content for Highspot customers, equipping them with resources for building and optimizing their Highspot solution. Along the way, you’ll work with product managers, service team members, and your team of awesome content creators to define a uniquely Highspot content strategy that anticipates customer needs and fosters success.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, design, write, manage, and continually enhance content that guides customers through Highspot's features and functionality.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify customer challenges and develop resources that empower them to independently address these issues.
  • Strategically map out a streamlined content strategy aimed at efficiently delivering exceptional customer learning resources.
  • Advocate for an exceptional user experience across the Highspot platform.

Your Background

  • Must-Have Experience
  • Seasoned tech writer. 3 - 5+ years of experience as a technical writer at a software company, documenting features and customer scenarios within rigorous time constraints. You excel in designing technical content that’s conversational and crystal clear.
  • Information architect. You obsess over organizing information in an easy-to-understand hierarchy and can build intuitive connections throughout the customer learning resources in various channels and platforms.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit. You actively embrace innovation, strive for continuous improvement, and are eager to help scale a new team’s impact across the company.
  • Nice-To-Have Experience
  • Knowledge of CRM software such as Salesforce or Dynamics
  • ZenDesk Guide or similar authoring tool
  • Analytics tools to measure and improve content performance
  • Experience with instructional design and learning management systems (LMS)
  • Experience creating videos or other animated content
  • Understanding of WCAG 2.2 or curiosity to learn more
