About the Position:

Reporting to the Sales Leader - Americas, Qumulo’s Regional Sales Director will be responsible for revenue growth in the Central United States, and will drive customer confidence in Qumulo products. They will be called upon to achieve revenue targets for the company, building the foundation for long-term success in the data storage marketplace.

Qumulo’s Sales team is made up of driven technology evangelists and problem solvers. Bolstered by robust experience in our industry, our tight knit team leads our innovative storage solutions into an ever expanding marketplace.


  • Lead the sales team, driving and attaining bold growth targets.
  • Build and implement a strategy focused around consistent growth of market share, new logo acquisition, and a predictable stream of sales bookings.
  • Attract and retain A-level sales professionals and continue to build a bench for sales expansion.
  • Develop extensive channel relationships and maximize channel use.
  • Maintain a customer-focused, fast-paced, people-focused culture.
  • Meet objectives with great focus and resourcefulness.
  • Work with the senior executive team to accomplish Qumulo’s mission of being the the company the world trusts to store, manage and curate data - forever.
  • At least 50% of travel is required for this role.


  • Minimum of 5+ years of previous technology sales experience
  • Storage experience preferred
  • Sales leadership experience with a start-up or a mix of large company and start-up experience.
  • A consistent track record meeting revenue and profit goals.
  • Well-tuned presentation and negotiation skills.
  • A demonstrated track record of satisfying customers.
  • Experience in recruiting, leading and developing a sales team.
  • Strong executive presence and leadership capabilities that translate into building credibility with customers, partners, and Qumulo employees.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The annual pay range for the role is USD $282,000 - $404,000. This role has the opportunity to earn variable incentive compensation depending on the terms of the applicable plan.

Individual pay depends on various factors, such as role level, relevant experience and skills, and location. Pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the pay range applicable at the time.
