What are we looking to add to our team?

This role involves working with machine learning models, integrating with Large Language Models (LLMs) / Generative pre-trained (GPT) models and using state of the art frameworks and libraries in the LLM stack. The components and algorithms you design will handle billions of transactions and do so with sub-second latency and in a fault tolerant manner. We are looking for candidates who share a passion for tackling large scale challenges and building platforms that can scale through multiple orders of magnitude. Here are the responsibilities for this position, but as a people-first company, we see beyond your current skillset today; we welcome all people’s multitude of experiences!

• Leading designs of major software components, systems, and features
• Work with cloud-hosted and self-hosted LLMs
• Fine tuning ML models and deploying them in cloud environments
• Building high scale, low latency infrastructure and APIs
• Driving features end-to-end from ideation to delivery working closely with other Engineers and Product managers
• Providing technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring

What you will do:

• Work across Project Management, Product and Engineering teams to design and build features.
• Take ownership of a feature area and delivering consistent improvements
• Write clean code with unit tests
• Participate in code reviews

You will be a great match if you have:

• Familiarity with using OpenAI or open source LLMs like Llama 2
• Fostered a working environment that believes in Kindness, Gratitude, and Curiosity!
• The equivalent of 5 years of software development experience as a software engineer or related role
• Familiarity with API design
• Familiarity with Python
• Familiarity with a cloud development environment such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
• Familiarity with .NET and C# would be a bonus

Base Salary Hiring Range: $125,930 to $163,710 annually
