What are we looking to add to our team?

We are seeking a friendly and curious IT professional to be the second person on SeekOut’s IT team. Serving as the first point of contact for all SeekOut employees, and based in the Bellevue office 3+ days a week, the IT Support Specialist supports both hardware and software for a distributed workforce. This role will troubleshoot IT issues, maintain and update computer systems, and provide exceptional customer service to end-users both in person and virtually, ensuring the smooth operation of SeekOut’s IT systems.

What you will do:

Customer service & help desk support

  • Provide world-class customer support for all internal users, which may include partnering with executives and other senior leaders on ad hoc requests
  • Timely, friendly, and knowledgeable responses to SeekOut employee IT issues in person and virtually
  • Manage help desk tickets via Jira Service Desk in a timely manner and follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolved
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems through MDM programs Intune and Kandji
  • Escalate issues and collaborate with other support teams or vendors as needed
  • Document internal procedures, user how-tos, and ticket notes (e.g., Guru, Confluence)
  • Setup new hire workstations and accounts, ship laptops, and conduct IT orientation

Hardware support

  • Computer hardware troubleshooting
  • Troubleshoot in-office conference rooms, VOIP phones, internet connectivity problems, and network peripherals (e.g., printers, scanners, and other devices)
  • Support and setup audio/visual for company meetings in person (e.g., ZoomRooms)

Software support

  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows (10, 11) and latest MacOS
  • Troubleshoot Office 365, Atlassian, and many other SaaS apps used by internal teams
  • Provide support for backups, antivirus, web filtering, and spam filtering (e.g., Sophos, OneDrive)


  • Timely and accurate documentation of tickets and resolutions
  • Write and update how-to’s for both end users and the internal IT team

Asset Maintenance

  • Keep detailed inventory records and manage on-site computer back stock of laptops
  • Shipping and receiving of laptops to employees as needed
  • Organize and stock the IT supply room in the HQ office, including workstation, printer, and conference room supplies

What experience should have:

  • 2+ years of experience working in a help desk environment or similar experience
  • 2+ years of customer support experience
  • Proficiency with Mac and Windows operating systems
  • Working knowledge of internal PC components and peripherals
  • Curiosity about technology, start-ups, computers, with willingness to learn and grow with the company
  • Strong investigative skills in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Proven experience to consistently meet deadlines, prioritize and organize workload both independently and with manager support
  • Experience with, and demonstrated understanding of, handling confidential material

  • Ability to work independently and in small teams

Location Requirements:

  • Position requires a minimum of 3 day a week in office (Bellevue, Washington)

Base Salary Hiring Range:
$49,120 to $58,450 annually
