The Sales Engineer role at Spotnana is an exciting and rewarding position. We are looking for a technical sales professional with knowledge of the travel market to help bring the Spotnana platform to life. The Sales Engineer acts as a trusted advisor and plays an integral part in delivering a first-class experience to our customers.

This individual will serve as the lead advocate for customers; translating technical needs into product development recommendations, testing customer environments, and driving customer demand/features internally within Spotnana. Must be able to understand and articulate Spotnana's architectural advantages to our customers and support the sales team when it comes to proposing and designing solutions to our customer's biggest challenges.

The ideal candidate will be self-driven and have a background in travel, integrations, Marketplace/APIs, and/or competitive equivalent.


  • Designing next-generation travel solutions for Spotnana customers
  • Conducting demo and proof of concepts for prospective Spotnana customers
  • Solution and architectural design and selling
  • RFQ/RFP response/preparation
  • Building competitive intelligence
  • Working across multiple boundaries
  • Driving the Spotnana vision


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or working experience equivalent
  • 5+ years working in a customer facing technical role, SaaS sales experience is strongly preferred
  • 5+ years working in the travel software applications industry
  • Thorough competitive knowledge (in their area of specialization) including solution, technology, and product offerings
  • Strong business acumen and executive presence
  • Create, present, and document technical solutions
  • Ability to present topics in a clear and concise manner to many levels of technical skill sets and audience sizes
  • Excellent communication skills

Spotnana strives to offer fair, industry-competitive, and equitable compensation. Our approach holistically assesses total compensation, including cash, company equity and comprehensive benefits. Our market-based compensation approach uses data from trusted third-party compensation sources to set salary ranges that are thoughtful and consistent with the role, industry, company size, and internal equity of our team. Each employee is paid within the minimum and maximum of their position’s compensation range based on their skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related specifications.
