How you’ll make an impact

As a Data/BI Analyst at Spotnana, you will be supporting the Head of Data Analytics & Reporting in meeting the data analysis and reporting needs of both internal and external stakeholders. You will be part of a global data team and will be responsible for building dashboards; providing reports; and assisting with forecasting and advanced analyses necessary to help customers and Spotters alike to make data-driven decisions to advance and benefit the organization and our users.

In this role, you will help with strategy and business operations; analytics and data science; customer and partnership enablement; ML and AI initiatives; and product activation and evaluation across multiple teams to ultimately drive efficiency; accelerate Spotnana’s growth; and promote the execution and success of data-related business priorities. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the improvement of Spotnana’s foundational data infrastructure/architecture, OBT and insights reporting, decision making models, dashboards and more.

In this role, you will work closely with multiple other teams within Spotnana, including but not limited to Marketing, Sales, Customer Success/Experience, Travel and Business Operations, Finance, Product, Engineering and more, as well as with other data experts within Spotnana and across our customers to drive and deliver the most actionable data, reports and insights to key stakeholders.

What you’ll own

Data requirement gathering and analysis/reporting execution
Owning the creation of dashboards and reports to appear on our online booking tool (OBT) and/or be delivered to key stakeholders (both internal and external) using available BI tools, Microsoft Excel, etc.
Act as a main point of contact for data-related inquiries and needs, supporting end-users to better understand and actionize their data

Experience to bring with you

Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
3 years of experience working in data analytics, consulting, data science, engineering, or technical operations role
3 years of experience in statistical problem solving and analyzing data sets using SQL or comparable coding language (Python, R, Java, C++)
3 years of experience working with BI (ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Power BI)/data analytics tools (Excel, R, SPSS) and supporting cross-functional data-related efforts and actionable insights generation
The ability to navigate ambiguity, grow and thrive in a fast-paced (corporate travel) environment, and meet tight deadlines
Excellent cross-functional communication skills, including the willingness and ability to communicate effectively with people from various (potentially non-data) backgrounds
Proficiency in translating complex data/analyses into actionable insights and effectively communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
