We unlock the full value of customer data with simplicity and speed. AI is at the core of our platform and the way we work — from powering advanced identity resolution and predictive analytics to streamlining internal workflows and decision-making. It’s not just a capability; it’s part of our DNA.

Our team thrives on curiosity, collaboration, and transparency, fostering a culture where everyone can contribute, learn, and grow. We welcome talented individuals from diverse backgrounds to help us remove data bottlenecks, accelerate business impact, and push the boundaries of what AI can do for the world’s most innovative companies.

With offices in Seattle, New York City, London, and Melbourne, you’ll join a fast-growing team tackling critical challenges at the intersection of AI, data, and customer experience. Ready to make an impact? Let’s talk.

The Role

Amperity differentiates itself through a combination of our proprietary machine learning and AI technology, and our rapid time to value. Our sales cycle often culminates with a Proof of Capability, varying in timeline from two weeks to ninety days. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Pilot Engagements, the Pilot Engagement Manager will own the delivery of Amperity's Proof of Capability projects (Pilots) to our customers, with the ultimate goal of proving the value of the platform and converting them to fully licensed customers. You will manage all phases of the Amperity pilot, including requirements gathering, solution design, platform configuration, and end-user enablement.

In addition, you will determine the best way to configure the Amperity platform to pilot specifications while driving project deliverables to completion. You are a trusted advisor to our clients and can articulate complex topics to both business and technical audiences, providing best practices and recommendations to efficiently stand up and leverage Amperity's technology.

Interesting Problems

As a pilot engagement manager, you will:

  • Manage multiple, concurrent pilots, each with different timelines, complexities, and requirements
  • Translate client business goals into pilot designs that showcase the most relevant and impactful use cases
  • Embrace an AI-approach to both client solutions and pilot processes, continually improving efficiency, scalability, and the customer experience
  • Understand the client from a practitioner's perspective – their workflows, tools, and pain points – and shape solutions that make their work easier and more useful
  • Quickly build a strong understanding of client data to configure it effectively in the platform and align with business priorities
  • Recognize when “good enough” is the right answer, balancing precision with speed to keep pilots moving forward
  • Collaborate across Amperity (Sales, Solutions Consulting, Client Services, Product, Engineering) and with customer stakeholders (Project Manager, IT, Marketing) to drive successful pilots.

About You

  • 8+ years' experience in technical consulting, solution delivery, technical program management, or similar roles (startup experience a distinct plus)
  • Experience running complex technical implementations end-to-end
  • Experience managing partners across departments and levels, from practitioners to executives
  • Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to bring structure where none exists
  • Strong data fluency — able to explore and interpret customer data, extract insights using SQL, and configure solutions
  • Innovative problem solver — you combine analytical thinking with creativity to solve situations without a clear playbook
  • Adaptable – you move fluidly between high-level design and technical detail, collaborating on strategy while diving deep when needed to deliver
  • Gritty – you keep driving toward outcomes even when challenges arise
  • Knowledge of marketing technology stack
  • Experience in a technical pre-sales role – a plus
