Booster Fuels is a leading, tech-enabled mobile energy and software platform on a mission to fuel the energy transition to fleets of all types of sizes. The Company’s investor list includes top-tier venture capital firms and strategic investors. The Controller will lead the accounting department and work closely with the CFO and others on the senior leadership team, to lay the accounting foundation for Booster’s next phase. This is a senior, cross-functional role charged with understanding every facet of the company’s financial statements, accounting and treasury operations. This is an exciting time as Booster is seeking to mature the accounting function more fully within the company and create the necessary accounting processes and controls for the Company’s next phase of growth.
Booster is seeking a Controller with a very strong technical understanding of GAAP who proactively stays informed of any new and applicable FASB guidance. It is also important that this individual has proven experience preparing and leading a robust organization through clean Big 4 (or BDO, Grant Thornton, RSM) audits, and has the desire and ability to get into the weeds, improve processes, and work cross-functionally across the organization. Ideally this is a hybrid role, where this individual will already be residing in Southern California with the ability to commute to the Orange County, CA office one to two times a week. We will consider fully remote positions for highly-qualified candidates who live outside of Southern California.

Salary Range: $200,000 - $230,000 + annual bonus + Booster equity
