About Booster

Booster is building the frictionless, tech-powered energy supply chain for modern transportation. We power the world's largest fleets more efficiently and sustainably through our direct operations and world-class partners.

Our BoosterOS platform eliminates the usual manual frictions between order and cash, thereby enabling energy delivery to support more businesses at lower costs. Today, we deliver conventional and renewable fuels directly to fleet vehicles nationwide, reducing costs and lowering carbon emissions—while paving the way for future clean alternatives. As demand for sustainable energy outpaces infrastructure, Booster provides the critical tech-driven, modular solution, helping customers seamlessly transition to better solutions for their operations, their communities, and our planet.

We lead by our values and hold ourselves – and each other — accountable to them. Our values guide how we interact, the choices we make, and the decisions we take—ultimately driving our long-term success as a business.

  • Safety as our daily guiding principle,
  • Customer at the heart of all our actions,
  • Integrity in doing the right thing even when no one is looking,
  • Excellence in never settling and always raising the bar
  • Boldness in being brave and creating the future, and
  • Stewardship in supporting the planet and everyone on it—we support our communities, our customers, and our people while driving play, purpose, and potential every day.

Role Overview

Booster is seeking a high-hungry, high-ownership Operations Manager to lead market execution through the Booster Business System (BBS), anchored in SQDPP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, People).

This is not a maintenance role - it is a builder role.

You will own the daily operating system of the market, driving disciplined execution, building scalable processes, and developing a high-performing team. This role requires someone who is relentless about improvement, thrives under pressure, and is driven to make a measurable impact.

You are expected to turn strategy into execution by embedding Lean Daily Management (LDM), solving problems at the root cause, and creating an operation that runs on standards - not heroics.

Core Responsibilities (SQDPP Framework)

Safety (Non-Negotiable Foundation)

  • Own safety as a system, not a checklist
  • Ensure full compliance with DOT regulations, Hours of Service, and operational standards
  • Lead all incidents through 3-Legged 5-Why RCCM to true root cause
  • Conduct regular audits and reinforce a zero-compromise safety culture
  • Build proactive mechanisms to prevent incidents — not react to them

Quality (Service Excellence & Standardization)

  • Ensure consistent execution of Booster service standards across all sites
  • Drive performance against key quality metrics:
    • Service Fill Rate (SFR), Vehicle Fill Rate (VFR), misses, audit scores
  • Standardize best practices and eliminate variability in execution
  • Partner cross-functionally to close service gaps and improve customer outcomes
  • Reinforce that every miss is a process failure to be solved, not repeated

Delivery (Execution & Reliability)

  • Own daily execution of fueling operations across the market
  • Translate demand into optimized routing, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Ensure on-time, complete, and reliable service delivery
  • Identify and mitigate risks before they impact customers
  • Build operational discipline through clear daily, weekly, and monthly execution rhythms

Productivity (Efficiency & Cost Discipline)

  • Drive performance across key productivity metrics:
  • GPH, route efficiency, asset utilization, labor productivity
  • Identify and eliminate waste using Lean / Kaizen principles
  • Optimize resource allocation to balance service and cost efficiency
  • Implement scalable process improvements that increase throughput without sacrificing safety or quality

People (Team & Culture Development)

  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing Service Professionals
  • Establish a culture of accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement
  • Lead through structured coaching, performance management, and real-time feedback
  • Build bench strength and develop future leaders
  • Create an environment where expectations are clear and performance is consistently elevated

BBS Execution Expectations

  • Lead Lean Daily Management (LDM):
    • Tier 1 / Tier 2 meetings
    • Visual management boards aligned to SQDPP

  • Drive structured problem solving using:
    • 3-Legged 5-Why RCCM
    • 4-Blocker / 9-Blocker frameworks
  • Ensure standard work is defined, followed, and continuously improved
  • Build systems that scale – not reliance on individual effort

Success Profile

Experience

  • 3+ years in operations leadership within:
    • Logistics / transportation
    • Field operations / last-mile delivery
    • High-growth, execution-heavy environments

Capabilities

  • Proven ability to drive results through people, process, and systems
  • Strong operator with high attention to detail and execution rigor
  • Structured problem solver with a bias toward root cause thinking
  • Comfortable managing real-time complexity while maintaining operational discipline

Mindset (Critical)

  • Hungry and driven — actively seeks ownership and impact
  • Builder mentality — creates systems that outlast the individual
  • Discontent with average — constantly pushes for better outcomes
  • Accountable — owns results, good or bad
  • Resilient — thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Continuous learner — always improving self, team, and systems

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

What Good Looks Like (SQDPP Outcomes)

  • Safety: Zero preventable incidents, full compliance, audit-ready at all times
  • Quality: Consistent achievement of service metrics (SFR, VFR, minimal misses)
  • Delivery: Reliable, predictable execution with no surprises to customers
  • Productivity: Continuous improvement in GPH, utilization, and cost efficiency
  • People: High-performing, engaged team with strong retention and internal growth

Role Positioning

This role is the execution engine of the market and the frontline leader of the Booster Business System.

If you are someone who:

  • Wants to build, not maintain
  • Takes pride in owning outcome
  • Is driven to win through discipline and continuous improvement
