We are seeking a Senior Product Designer who will play a crucial role in shaping our user experience and interface design. The ideal candidate will excel in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and create impactful design solutions.

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll get to:

  • Collaborate Closely: Work with product managers, engineers, and other designers to tackle user problems collectively and ensure seamless integration of design solutions.
  • Conduct User Research: Carry out comprehensive user research to gain insights into user behavior, pain points, and preferences. Use this data to inform and drive design decisions that enhance the overall user experience.
  • Perform User Testing: Regularly perform user testing to validate design concepts and iterate based on user feedback, ensuring the final product aligns with user expectations.
  • Refine Designs: Continuously refine and enhance designs by incorporating feedback from stakeholders and users, ensuring a consistently high-quality user interface and experience.
  • Contribute to Design System: Contribute to and uphold the Branch Design System, ensuring consistency and usability across all digital products.
  • Create Documentation: Produce clear and detailed design documentation, including wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications, to guide the development team.
  • Lead Projects: Lead design efforts on key projects from concept to completion, showcasing your ability to create intuitive and impactful UI/UX solutions.
  • Measure Success: Achieve measurable improvements in user engagement and satisfaction with the products you’ve worked on, reflecting your design impact and effectiveness.

You’ll be a good fit if you have:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a similar domain.
  • Extensive Experience: 5+ years of product design experience.
  • Portfolio: An impressive online portfolio showcasing your design work and successful projects.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in visual design software, specifically Figma.
  • User-Centric Approach: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Research and Analysis: Expertise in conducting user research, analyzing data, and translating insights into actionable design solutions.
  • Collaboration Skills: Strong experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Design Systems: Experience contributing to and maintaining design systems, ensuring consistency and usability across digital products.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex design challenges and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for user-centric solutions.

Nice to haves:

  • Front-End Development Knowledge: Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Data-Driven Experimentation: Expertise in leveraging analysis and data to guide product design experiments and make regular, incremental improvements.
  • Data Visualization: Experience designing for analytics and creating data visualizations.
  • UI Copy: Ability to write or give feedback on UI copy.

This role will be based at our new Austin, TX office and in alignment with our return to office policy, this role follows our Hybrid schedule.

This role does not qualify for US Visa support.
