About the Team
The Customer Success and Sales Engineer teams are technically oriented roles that support revenue growth across pre and post-sales. Our team is responsible for advising customers on how to create more efficient business processes and designing technical solutions for our customers in an effort to drive new revenue and renew customers.
About the Role
Clari is hiring for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who is a self-starter with a strong vision for customer value and loves working in a fast-paced environment. You will be an integral part of the Sales Engineering function in EMEA and help scale the successful international expansion of Clari to the next phase of growth. You will work very closely with leadership across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing.
As a key member of the Clari team, you will be responsible for supporting our EMEA sales team accounts. As the solution expert for the Clari Platform, your efforts will begin early in the sales cycle making sure that we understand the customer’s priorities and showing how Clari is the best solution. The goal is to drive the technical side of the sales process, and ensure that the customer truly loves the Clari product.
Day-to-day, you’ll uncover customer pain points, build out our solution to match their needs, present the value of our industry-leading technology, and cultivate relationships with some of the brightest sales minds in the industry. It’s satisfying and enjoyable, and you’ll never be bored.

This is a work from home opportunity based in the UK. Candidates must be both based in the UK and have British citizenship or appropriate British work authorization.


  • Deliver world-class demos to executive audiences including CEO, CRO, and VPs
  • Working with prospects and customers to understand company initiatives and map to Clari solutions
  • Designing and managing the product and technical strategy in new business and expansion deals
  • Owning all aspects of solutioning, custom demos, security reviews, and proof of concepts
  • Developing and maintaining product expertise, including best practices to provide value to customers by working closely with Product Management, Professional Services and Customer Success
  • Partnering with other departments (Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product Management) on strategic company projects focused on scalability, brand awareness, and growth
  • Contributing to the growth of Clari by being a Brand Ambassador and assist in the hiring of great talent
  • Scoping and solutioning of post-sale expansion opportunities - gathering requirements, conducting discovery and giving value-based demos
  • Collaborating with the wider Customer Solutions team (namely Customer Success) on solutioning for complex and involved customer situations
  • Run Pilots for customers to expand Clari’s footprint to new personas / areas of the business
  • Being a subject matter expert “SME” in a particular area of the product / use case to be able to disseminate knowledge, contribute to internal enablement and scale learning for customers.


  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role in presales as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or Sales Engineer
  • Experience with Revenue Intelligence & Operations or Sales technology a plus
  • Proven track record in delivering value-based sales presentations and demos to business leaders and the C-suite required
  • Superior communications skills and demonstrated ability to communicate/present effectively at all levels of the organization including C-level executives
  • Have an inquisitive, engaging and exploratory mindset to do in-depth discovery of a situation. Able to ask thought-provoking and open-ended questions
  • Successful track record selling software solutions to executive audiences
