About the Team
The R&D Operations team at Clari helps drive Product/Engineering strategy planning, product delivery and effectiveness, operational coordination, and rhythm while driving visibility and coordination within R&D and our customers and stakeholders. Also, we love data that helps our teams be more effective in all that they do.
The R&D Organization is an Agile shop that practices Scrum across all our teams. We layer in coordination practices such as Big Room Planning to stay aligned to Clari’s KPIs quarterly across sites and teams. About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic Sr. Director, Technical Program Management (TPM), to join our team focused on our Clari Revenue Platform. In this role, you’ll partner with our global TPM and Product Operations leaders to drive planning, execution, and strategic programs. You will be part of the larger R&D Operations Organization at Clari, responsible for supporting our product and engineering teams, agile coaching & process governance, driving strategic engineering/product programs, and associated interlocks the Product and Engineering organization needs to be successful.
This is a fully remote opportunity and can be worked from any location in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to the VP, R&D Ops for our teams in North America for all critical decisions and essential product and engineering initiatives within the Clari
  • Continuously seek to improve processes and streamline collaboration across teams in India, Poland, and North America
  • Expert in Agile Methodologies at both the team level and teams of teams level (SAFe, LeSS, etc.)
  • Coach individuals and teams across all types of Agile principles and practices
  • Understand the portfolio of work for all teams, including impediments, significant risks, and dependencies to drive planning and execution quarter over quarter
  • Understand the complexity of a modern SaaS Platform product and the patterns involved in building a platform (ex. Shared Services Teams)
  • Understand what metrics to track from a planning and execution perspective alongside engineering productivity and effectiveness
  • Can roll up sleeves and dig in with teams and individuals to help coach on our processes and behaviors. Has the ability to coach processes and practices in Engineering and Product Management
  • Acts as a catalyst in the R&D Operations Organization, driving us to improve and scale how we operate continuously

Qualifications

  • 15+ years experience in the same or similar role working within an R&D Operations Organization supporting a high-growth SaaS product
  • 8+ years managing Technical Program Managers or Agile Program Managers across multiple product lines and platform
  • Created a culture of data and making data-driven decisions in an R&D SaaS organization. Expert at metrics within an R&D organization
  • Understands and has worked in organizations with product operations and knows how to partner with them to drive outcomes
  • Expert at Scaling Agile across a globally distributed team and multiple product lines and platforms
  • Transformed an R&D organization using scaled frameworks. Knows how to take product lines and platforms from disparate practices at the team level to managing a portfolio of products (SAFe, LeSS, etc.)
  • Force for change who is open to new insights accepts challenges, and leads with positive energy
  • Trusted professional with the ability to lead strong personalities and drive open items to effective resolution
  • Expert in driving cross-functional programs within Engineering, Product, Design, and GTM from idea to completion
  • Knows Jira with an understanding of engineering management platforms (Jellyfish) and can be a partner with product operations for integrations across the engineering and product management tool stack
  • Technical aptitude - You’ll need to understand the high-level architecture of what is being built to drive execution successfully
  • Understands the complexity of driving multiple products within a Platform
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and executive presence

    Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to specific work location, skill set, depth of experience, education, and certifications.
    The salary range for this position is $240,000 to $360,000. The compensation package for this position also includes stock options and company-paid benefits, including well-being and professional development stipends.
