About the Role
The Finance Operations Director will be the first finance hire in EMEA, playing a pivotal role in shaping and implementing financial processes, systems, and strategies. This position reports directly to the Corporate Controller and requires a proactive and experienced professional capable of building a robust finance operations function that aligns with the company's overall objectives.
This is a hybrid opportunity based in Kraków, Poland. Candidates must be based in Poland.
Design and implement a shared service center for finance operations, streamlining transactional processes and ensuring efficiency in financial transactions
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance operations, driving efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
Develop strategies and implement processes, along with establishing control checkpoints, to improve the efficiency of finance operations and ensure compliance with company policies.
Establish systems and define key performance indicators to monitor the performance and efficiencies of finance operations. continually
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate finance operations seamlessly with other business functions.
Develop and implement training programs for finance operations staff to enhance skills and ensure compliance with established processes.
Contribute to developing the finance operations strategy aligned with the overall business strategy.
10+ years in finance operations, with a track record of success in establishing and optimizing shared service centers
Strong understanding of shared service center operations, process optimization, and technology solutions
Leadership and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
SaaS industry experience preferred
Experience with NetSuite or similar ERPs, and other operational systems (e.g. procurement tools and T&E systems) is preferred
