About the Team
The Revenue team's mission at Clari is to lead the company and the market by selling the only platform purpose-built to run revenue. Our team's purview spans all things revenue — operations, new logos, account management, and sales development — as well as enablement, programs, and value engineering. We're responsible not just for creating and closing high-velocity pipelines, but also the programs and training that help turn pipelines into revenue.
About the Role
Clari is hiring for a Senior Value Consultant to help accelerate significant aspects of value consulting for Clari. This role is perfect for someone who is an entrepreneurial self-starter with a strong vision for customer value and loves working in a fast-paced environment. They will partner to expand our value impact from the ground up and work closely with teams across Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Product Marketing, Product, and Analytics. This role will have a specific focus on strategic pursuits, partnering to build a world-class solutions selling program with a foundation of value selling.

This is a fully remote opportunity and can be worked from any location in the United States.
Contribute to the build and expansion of Value Engineering for Clari
Support a high-performing competitive value consulting program through educating the revenue organization, hands-on deal work, self-service assets, and building scale
Build value assessments for each particular Clari use-case; build compelling business cases for Executives to answer “Why do anything?”, “Why now?”, “Why Clari?”
Educate and coach Clari’s Revenue Organization on how to implement value selling methodology successfully into all customer interactions, pre & post-sales
Continuously refine Clari’s financial ROI methodology, including tools, deliverables, and offerings
Drive Clari’s proposal strategy, including competitive pricing and discounting strategy to maximize business value
Embody Clari’s culture and values & contribute to the overall success of Clari by going above and beyond roles & responsibilities
5+ years of experience in a Value Consulting, Management Consulting, or Pre-Sales role
Strong preference for experience at high growth, pre-IPO tech SaaS startup
Must be a self-starter and have a strong vision for what best in class value consulting and the execution to make that vision a reality
Exceptional business problem solving combined with strong interpersonal skills
Financial modeling, benchmarking, and quantitative skills and experience developing and defending large-scale capital appropriation requests
Outstanding oral and written presentation communication skills; strong command over Google Sheets and Google Slides
Inspirational leadership qualities and strong experience managing internal and external executive-level relationships (ie CEO, CRO, CFO, etc.)
Intellectual horsepower and analytical rigor to create actionable insights
Proactive and relentless. Independently capable of seeking information in an unstructured environment, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations with a quick turnaround

It is Clari’s intent to pay all Clarians competitive wages and salaries that are motivational, fair, and equitable. The goal of Clari’s compensation program is to be transparent, attract potential employees, meet the needs of all current employees and encourage employees to stay and grow at Clari.
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to specific work location, skill set, depth of experience, education and certifications.
The salary range for this position is $138,000 to $208,000. The compensation package for this position also includes stock options and company-paid benefits, including well-being and professional development stipends.
