Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to enhance Codified's data authorization solution, leveraging your expertise in large-scale data systems to optimize performance and security.
- Develop and refine models that enable natural language-based data policy expressions, making data access management more accessible for a broad range of users.
- Develop and refine data classification models that help Codified, and users, understand data sensitivity.
- Work closely with our technical team, as well as collaborate with external partners, to ensure the successful implementation of data authorization solutions for Codified's clients.
- Design and execute experiments to validate the effectiveness of Codified's data authorization solution, making data-driven improvements where necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data management and security, bringing innovative ideas to the leadership team and advising them on how Codified can maintain a competitive edge in a rapidly-changing technology landscape.
Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in large-scale data systems, data management, and data security. Ability to mine and explore data using traditional training and analyzing methods.
- Experience in developing and implementing machine learning and natural language processing algorithms.
- Strong programming skills and direct experience contributing to production code.
- Intense intellectual curiosity about emerging technologies, including Large-Language Models (LLMs.) Strong preference for applicants who have experimented with LLMs through application toolkits, such as langchain, llama-index, auto-gpt, autogen, or similar platforms, and are comfortable fine-tuning them.
- Familiarity with the enterprise data governance workflow and experience contributing to access and management or authorization solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner for a non-technical audience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, data science, or a similar field. Advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, data science, or a similar field is preferred but not required.
