The tax department’s mission is to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and to enhance shareholder value by minimizing the Company’s tax obligations while supporting business initiatives.

The Principal Tax Accountant within India will be a member of the Global Tax & Shared Service team and will be responsible for India Direct, Indirect Tax Compliance, Audits, Tax Accounting, Advisory, Transfer Pricing.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE

• Prepare direct, indirect tax filings for India and arrange tax returns for signing and payment process
• Prepare advance tax, withholding tax workings
• Transfer pricing filings including Master file, CbCR
• Prepare responses to various tax authorities.
• Support direct, indirect tax audits as they arise.
• Prepare tax accounting for statutory purposes both for inclusion into financial statements and tax filings to the tax authorities.
• Reconcile Tax accounts in the specified system.
• Assist the Tax Lead in merger and acquisition activity including due diligence, integration
• Implement global and regional tax initiatives including tax projects
• Support Tax Lead in driving cross-functional tax and business initiatives.
• Prepare & implement tax advisories
• Develop and implement tax processes and procedures.

WE'D LOVE TO TALK IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING

8+ years of firsthand experience in India Direct, Indirect tax, Transfer pricing related roles.

Strong to excellent Excel skills to work comfortably with data, complex computations

• Required skills include:

o Initiative and ability to work independently.

o Ability to manage external and internal relationships.

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Prefer:

o Experience in the software industry

o Experience with a US based multinational company.

o Experience in general and tax-specific technology tools

CA, LLB or equivalent qualification having relevant India direct, indirect tax experience.
