We are looking for a Principal Project Manager who will be based in the field and Cohesity Offices. This is a critical and demanding position, works across the project services lifecycle, for controlling the delivery and profitability of our projects to the ultimate goals of enhancing our customer satisfaction. This role ensures that our customer solutions are designed, implemented and delivered to the highest standards.
The Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects within the Professional Services Consulting Team. He/she is expected to interface between our PMO, Delivery Manager, Architects, Consultants, Sales teams and Business Partners, to consistently achieve and exceed our goals. The Principal Project Manager manages planning, execution and projects closure within scope, timeline and budget. This includes project delivery engagements and delivering against customer requirements and expectations.
Willing to work with the Global team and serving other countries /regions if needed.
It is essential to possess strong and proven relationship, communication and organizational skills at all levels, a demonstrable “can do” attitude and possess a track record of successful project management in technology and\or advisory Services related organizations.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
Act as the primary point of contact for the customer with regards to Cohesity Services’ projects
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, up to finalizing Statement of Works, supporting the account team in explaining the value to the customer and managing the financials with the support of abroad functions
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
Coordinate and lead project team meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
Providing ongoing engagement direction to internal delivery resources and/or subcontractors
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation plans
Providing real-time Project Management and reporting to the stakeholders
Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability
Providing the revenue and cost forecast for the assigned projects in our project tool
Ensure Architects/Consultants timecards entries and in line with the project budget
Ensure the project is delivered aligned with the scope of work, timelines and its financials
Provide a proper closure of project to customers and internal teams
Manage multiple projects
Manage internal and external stakeholders during escalations
Monitoring and reporting Customer Satisfaction
WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
PMP or PRINCE2 certification (nice to have)
Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management in IT Services
Proven experience and comprehension of IT solutions
Able to work independently and run projects
Very good communication and presentation skills (verbal/written/presentation)
Work and adapt in dynamic and international environments
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with other members of the Consulting Services Organization, Technical Services, and Sales
Can prioritize a heavy workload to meet both short term and long-term objectives
Changes or expands existing solution requirements with customer executive decision makers
Possess the ability to manage expectations with multiple stakeholders, with conflicting priorities
Manage complex projects that require a high level of negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
Management of project delivery resources
Management of customer, including a level of commercial responsibility and scope control
Definition and ownership of the delivery methodology for the project
“Can do” and “do whatever it takes” attitude and approach to working practices and demands of the business
Problem-solving attitude
Proven good escalations management
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Ability to travel - if needed
Languages: fluent English spoken and written + local Asean region language as a plus
Tools: good knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of other project management tools is a plus
*Singaporean citizenship with Security Cat 1 Clearance required due to project nature.
