The VP of Corporate Communications acts as a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing the company's comprehensive communication strategy. This executive role includes oversight of public relations, analyst relations, social media, and internal communications, ensuring cohesive messaging that aligns with the company's mission and business objectives. In this capacity, the Vice President will develop and implement communication initiatives that enhance brand reputation, drive thought leadership, and foster employee engagement. The role requires close collaboration with executive leadership to craft narratives that resonate with diverse stakeholders, including media, industry analysts, employees, and the broader public. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate communications within the technology sector, demonstrating a proven ability to lead integrated communication functions and drive strategic initiatives.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement a comprehensive global communications strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and brand positioning.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team, providing strategic counsel on communication matters and ensuring alignment across all messaging platforms.
Lead crisis communication planning and response, safeguarding the company's reputation during high-stakes situations.
Public Relations
Manage a team of three public relations experts to deliver on all public relations initiatives, including media relations, press releases, and proactive media engagement strategies.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers to secure positive coverage and manage media inquiries.
Identify and secure opportunities for executive visibility, such as speaking engagements, interviews, and industry events
Act as a spokesperson for the company when necessary, effectively conveying the company's vision and values.
Analyst Relations
Manage a team of two analyst relations experts to develop and manage relationships with industry analysts to ensure accurate and favorable coverage of the company's products and strategic direction.
Coordinate briefings, inquiries, and participation in industry reports to enhance the company's visibility and credibility in the market.
Build on and improve on the company’s performance in the Gartner MQ and IDC Cyber Marketscape
Work across PR and AR to engage with earned and paid industry influencers
Social Media Strategy
Manage a team of two social media experts to lead the development and execution of a robust social media strategy that amplifies the company's voice, engages key audiences, and supports overall business goals.
Monitor social media channels for brand sentiment, emerging issues, and opportunities for engagement, adjusting strategies as needed.
Internal and Executive Communications
Manage a team of two internal communication experts to design and implement internal communication programs that foster employee engagement, align teams with company objectives, and promote a cohesive corporate culture.
Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure timely and effective dissemination of information across the organization.
Develop and manage executive communication strategies, including presentations, and thought leadership content for the CEO and other senior leaders.
Team Leadership and Development
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing communications team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Manage relationships with external agencies and consultants, ensuring alignment with the company's communication strategies and objectives.
Measurement and Reporting
Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and initiatives.
Regularly report on communication outcomes to executive leadership, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Extensive experience in corporate communications within the technology industry, with a strong understanding of enterprise software markets.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated communication strategies that drive brand awareness and business results.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills, with experience in measuring the impact of communication initiatives and making data-driven decisions.
Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
Proficiency in leveraging digital and social media platforms for strategic communication.
Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
