We are seeking an exceptionally driven Account Executive to join our team at Cohesity. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a world-class team and compete in a fast-paced, dynamic industry. This position will play a key role in driving our business forward by successfully implementing sales strategies and exceeding revenue targets. We are looking for someone ambitious, who has a proven track record of success, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

  • Accountable for meeting assigned Sales Quota

  • Responsible for creating account plans to nurture and develop opportunities to drive your revenue targets

  • Sell the Cohesity offerings and/or services by developing relationships with decision makers and individuals within assigned market to drive new business

  • Maintain relationships with key customer executives

  • Act as the primary sales contact for those customers/partners representing Cohesity

  • Develop key strategies to create strong virtual team/resources to maximize sales within the assigned territory

  • Actively build a strong network with key partners who are actively selling into the assigned territory

WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 5+ years’ sales and/or account management experience in IT software/hardware/security sales.

  • At least 5 years successful proven track record selling into large enterprise accounts, preferably in TELCO sector.

  • Experience in the management of business relationships with customers in a customer-facing role

  • Has a strong Network of Strategic Partners focused on large enterprise accounts, especially in TELCO sector.

  • Strong track record of achievement against quota.

  • Current contacts/relationships and working business knowledge of assigned customers/territory.

  • Strong business and executive level sales acumen. Tangible examples required.

  • Excellent time management, presentation, written and oral skills.

  • Ability to map Cohesity offerings against customer needs and to identify new opportunities within your assigned territory.

  • Understand the importance of Account plan, and clearly utilize them to drive success.

  • Understands operational cadence in their specific areas.

  • Ensures operating within compliance from a process, legal and revenue perspectives.

  • Presents himself/herself in a professional manner, being a representative of our organization.

  • Demonstrable overachievement in all areas – personal, quota and development.

  • Familiarity with the Cohesity strategy and offerings would be desirable.

  • A Strong communicator with excellent public speaking and presentation skills

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
