This role reports to the US-based Director of Strategy & Operations and will serve as a Manager within the Deal Management Team. As a Manager, you will drive strategic initiatives that shape operational guidelines, governance frameworks, reporting, and enablement programs to support scalable growth, policy compliance, and operational excellence across the organization.

You will serve as a key advisor and strategic partner to senior stakeholders in Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product—leading cross-functional efforts to optimize the deal process, strengthen policy controls, and deliver consistent, data-informed decision-making. This is a high-impact role requiring a strong blend of strategic thinking, operational execution, and stakeholder influence. You will be expected to operate with autonomy, lead complex projects, and help shape the long-term vision of deal operations at Cohesity.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

Strategy & Operations:

  • Partner with Sales and cross-functional stakeholders to optimize the end-to-end deal lifecycle, identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions via system enhancement and policy.

  • Drive strategic initiatives that support revenue acceleration, deal velocity, and scalability.

  • Monitor key deal metrics, identify trends, and create reporting frameworks for executive leadership.

  • Lead special projects related to new business models, pricing strategies, and process automation.

Policy & Governance:

  • Own the end-to-end creation, drafting, and maintenance of commercial deal policies that support our core software, SaaS and hardware offerings.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in Legal, Finance, Product, Sales Operations, and Compliance to ensure policies are aligned with business goals, regulatory requirements.

  • Develop policies that govern key areas such as pricing and discounting strategy, deal structuring, approval workflows, bundling rules, and contract terms—including considerations unique to recurring revenue models, multi-year SaaS agreements, hardware fulfillment, and hybrid sales motions.

  • Act as the central point of contact for policy-related questions, interpretation, and escalation, ensuring clarity and consistency across all GTM teams.

  • Proactively assess the effectiveness and scalability of existing policies; identify gaps, outdated content, or areas of risk, and lead the update or replacement process.

  • Drive policy governance practices including stakeholder reviews, executive alignment, documentation standards, and change management plans to ensure smooth rollout and adoption.

  • Deliver training and enablement on new and updated policies to ensure company-wide understanding and compliance.

Enablement & Change Management:

  • Develop and deliver training programs on deal processes, policy updates, and tools for Sales and GTM teams

  • Act as a key change agent for systems rollouts, policy adoption, and process improvements

  • Maintain internal documentation and resources to ensure clarity and compliance

WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • 5+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue/Business Operations, Sales Strategy, or a related role. Prior experience at a high-growth SaaS or enterprise technology company preferred.

  • Strong project management and process improvement skills

  • Strong analytical mindset; ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.

  • Experience with Salesforce, CPQ, CLM tools, or other deal management platforms.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with experience influencing cross-functional teams.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with global stakeholders.
