As a Senior Manager – Production Engineering, you will lead a high-impact team focused on enhancing the supportability, reliability, and scalability of our cloud services and infrastructure. You will drive strategic initiatives that reduce support effort, improve customer experience, and enable self-service through automation, telemetry, and advanced diagnostics. This role blends technical leadership with operational excellence, requiring a deep understanding of support workflows, driving automations including AI adoption, and cross-functional collaboration.
Strategic Leadership & Vision
Define and execute an innovation roadmap that transforms support operations and elevates customer experience through intelligent automation and AI-driven insights.
Champion supportability excellence across Support, Sustenance Engineering, Customer Experience, and Sales teams, fostering a shared vision of proactive, data-informed service delivery.
Team & Project Management
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Production Engineers and Technical Program Managers passionate about redefining support through next-gen technologies.
Drive project execution, resource optimization, and performance management with a focus on agility, impact, and continuous improvement.
Cultivate a culture of ownership, experimentation, and customer-centric innovation.
Technical Oversight
Guide the development and deployment of intelligent supportability tools, automation frameworks, and telemetry systems that deliver deep operational insights.
Ensure scalable and secure infrastructure through proactive monitoring, diagnostics, and predictive alerting.
Strengthen incident response readiness and postmortem analysis to improve SLA adherence and customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Support, Sustenance Engineering, Customer Experience, and Sales teams to embed supportability into operational workflows and customer engagement strategies.
Collaborate to streamline escalation paths, improve feedback loops, and accelerate resolution timelines with built-in observability and diagnostics.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Leverage advanced analytics and machine learning to uncover trends, root causes, and opportunities for support optimization.
Deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations to stakeholders across support and customer-facing functions, driving smarter decisions and measurable impact.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Customer Facing Roles: Production Engineering, Professional Service or Technical support, or serviceability roles, with a strong track record of driving operational excellence.
At least 5 years of proven leadership experience managing high-performing engineering or supportability teams.
Hands-on proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C++, with a focus on building scalable automation and diagnostic tools.
Deep understanding of cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
Experience with software engineering tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and technical documentation skills.
Exposure to AI/ML-driven automation and predictive diagnostics is highly desirable.
