We are seeking a strong individual contributor to support pricing and monetization strategy across all Cohesity’s portfolio of products, including the AI offerings, with a primary focus on competitive pricing and market research.
This role plays a critical part in informing pricing decisions through rigorous analysis of competitors, market dynamics, customer willingness to pay, and pricing performance. You will work closely with senior leaders in Product Growth & Monetization, and Product management team.
You will report to the Senior Director of Product Growth & Monetization and operate as a key partner to other members of monetization and the competitive teams.
At Cohesity, Product Management is central to shaping strategy. In this role, you will contribute directly to pricing, packaging, and go-to-market decisions by grounding them in competitive and customer reality.
How You’ll Spend Your Time
Conduct competitive pricing and packaging analysis across all portfolios of products including security and AI offerings.
Design and run user and buyer research (e.g., interviews, surveys, win/loss analysis, willingness-to-pay studies) to inform value-based pricing, packaging decisions, and pricing sensitivity across customer segments.
Own ongoing Competitive pricing intelligence: competitor tracking, pricing changes, discounting patterns, bundles, and commercial models.
Translate competitive insights into clear positioning and sales-facing guidance.
Support the design and evolution of pricing and packaging by providing data-backed recommendations on value metrics, tiers, and bundles.
Contribute to GTM readiness by ensuring pricing and competitive context are reflected in enablement materials and launch planning.
Act as a thought partner to Sales on competitive pricing scenarios and field feedback.
We’d Love to Talk If You Have Many of the Following Experience
6+ years of experience in pricing, competitive intelligence, market research, or product strategy, preferably in data infrastructure and data management space.
Hands-on experience supporting pricing or packaging initiatives through competitive and customer analysis and user research.
Experience working closely with Product, Product Marketing and sales teams.
Excellent analytical skills.
Ability to translate competitive and market insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and execute in a fast-paced environment.

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
Pay Range :
The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.

In-Office Expectations
Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
