We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Network Engineer to join our team on FTE basis. As a Network Operations Engineer, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations, troubleshooting and maintaining the uptime of network services within our datacenter and offices infrastructure. You will work closely with users, follow established guidelines, and contribute to successfully maintaining the network service SLA.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
Handle day-to-day operations and respond to network-related tickets promptly and effectively.
Manage Data Center operational tickets, specifically working on Cisco ACI, Arista, Routing, Switching and Firewall technologies.
Implement and maintain core networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPC, HSRP, VRRP, STP, VLAN etc.
Participate in on-call rotations and promptly respond to network alerts and incidents.
Maintain Zscaler VPN and secure remote access solutions to ensure datacenter accessibility while maintaining security.
Ensure adherence to SOPs for day to day operations set by the Network Architect throughout the project.
Conduct network troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Perform network troubleshooting to identify and resolve Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.
Follow the change management process to perform network configuration changes and troubleshooting.
WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING
3-6 years of experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on core networking protocols.
Must have experience on Cisco ACI, Arista, Cisco routing, switching and firewall technologies.
Must have experience on AWS, Azure cloud technologies.
Manage Data Center L2 operational tickets, specifically working on Cisco ACI, Arista, Routing and Switching technologies.
Proven experience in network troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPC, HSRP, VRRP, STP, VLAN, firewalls etc.
Familiarity with network security principles and experience in setting up VPN and secure remote access solutions is a plus
Ability to take ownership of day-to-day network operations and respond to tickets efficiently.
Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and promptly respond to alerts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with users and cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Ability to work independently/under minimal supervision and in a team environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP in networking or related fields are a plus.
Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and support high-quality decision-making.
