Join Cohesity’s People Team as the leader of Talent Acquisition in India, where you will play a critical role in shaping and scaling one of the company’s most strategic talent markets. In this highly visible leadership role, you will partner closely with business executives, People leaders, and global TA leadership to drive hiring strategy, operational excellence, leadership hiring, and workforce planning across India.
This role requires a strong balance of strategic leadership, operational rigor, market expertise, and team development. You will help build scalable recruiting programs, strengthen leadership partnerships, elevate recruiter capability, and ensure Cohesity continues to attract top talent in a highly competitive market.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
- Lead the India Talent Acquisition function, driving hiring strategy and execution across technical and non-technical hiring.
- Partner closely with business leaders and People Partners to align recruiting priorities with organizational growth plans and workforce strategies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on hiring trends, market dynamics, talent availability, and organizational planning.
- Drive consistency, accountability, and operational excellence across recruiting processes and delivery.
Strategic Workforce Planning & Market Intelligence
- Partner with Finance, HR, and business leadership to forecast hiring demand and build scalable recruiting strategies aligned to company priorities.
- Provide market insights, talent mapping, and competitive intelligence to influence hiring decisions and long-term workforce planning.
- Develop proactive sourcing and pipelining strategies for critical and leadership-level hiring.
- Use data and analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across recruiting performance and talent availability.
Leadership Hiring & Executive Partnership
- Support and influence leadership hiring efforts across India, including Director-level and above searches.
- Partner with executives and hiring leaders to define talent profiles, succession considerations, and organizational needs.
- Ensure high-quality candidate experience and strong stakeholder alignment throughout the search and selection process.
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders through consultative partnerships and strategic talent guidance.
Recruiting Operations & Process Optimization
- Continuously improve recruiting workflows, processes, and operational standards to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Partner cross-functionally with TA and HR Operations, Compensation, Mobility, and other People function to ensure seamless hiring execution.
- Establish clear recruiting metrics, reporting, and operational reviews to drive accountability and informed decision-making.
- Leverage AI tools and automation opportunities to streamline recruiting processes, improve reporting, and enhance candidate engagement.
Team Leadership & Capability Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing recruiting team across India.
- Create a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Invest in recruiter capability building, including stakeholder management, sourcing strategy, market knowledge, and executive presence.
- Drive strong employee engagement and retention across the TA organization.
Employer Branding & University Strategy
- Partner with employer branding and university recruiting teams to strengthen Cohesity’s presence across India’s talent market.
- Support development of scalable universities and early talent strategies aligned to long-term workforce needs.
- Build relationships with key universities, talent communities, and external partners to strengthen talent pipelines.
- Help position Cohesity as an employer of choice within India’s competitive technology talent ecosystem.

WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
- 15+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 7 years leading recruiting teams in high-growth environments.
- Strong experience leading recruiting organizations within the technology industry, preferably supporting Engineering and GTM hiring.
- Proven ability to partner effectively with senior executives and business leaders on workforce planning and hiring strategy.
- Deep understanding of the India talent market, including competitive dynamics across Bangalore, Pune, and other major talent hubs.
- Experience leading organizational change, process optimization, and recruiting transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical and operational mindset with experience leveraging recruiting metrics and market data to drive decisions.
- Demonstrated success building and developing high-performing recruiting teams and leaders.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and evolving global environment.
- Experience leveraging AI tools, automation, and scalable recruiting technologies to improve recruiting operations and effectiveness.
