Senior Director of CRM, Salesforce Operations – Remote

The Senior Director of CRM, Salesforce Operations is responsible for leading and managing the overall strategy, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce CRM across the organization. This role ensures that the Salesforce platform supports business objectives, enhances customer relationship management, and drives operational efficiency. The Senior Director will oversee a team of Salesforce professionals, including administrators, and support specialists.
Expedition Expectations
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive CRM strategy aligned with the company's business goals and objectives.
Drive the adoption and optimization of Salesforce across the organization, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the business.
Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to align CRM initiatives with corporate strategies and objectives.
Team Management:
Lead, manage and continue to build our team of Salesforce professionals, including but not limited to administrators and support staff.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities.
Project Management:
Oversee Salesforce implementation projects ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Coordinate with project managers, stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
System Architecture and Development:
Collaborate with the Enterprise IT Leadership, Developers and Architects to design scalable and robust Salesforce solutions.
Oversee the development and customization of Salesforce applications to meet business requirements.
Lead or participate in the integration with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.
Data Management and Analytics:
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of CRM data.
Oversee data analysis and reporting to generate actionable insights that drive business decisions.
Implement data governance best practices and policies.
User Training and Support:
Ensure comprehensive user training programs to maximize user adoption and proficiency with Salesforce tools.
Oversee the development of training materials and user documentation.
Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing technical issues and enhancing the user experience.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
Manage relationships with Salesforce and other CRM-related vendors.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure CRM initiatives meet their needs and expectations.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with Salesforce updates, new features, and industry trends.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance CRM operations.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the CRM team.
Passport to Success
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in CRM management, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing Salesforce operations.
Certifications: Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, and Salesforce Certified Sales/Service Cloud Consultant are highly desirable.
