As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying solutions on the Salesforce platform, with a focus on enhancing business processes through effective CRM solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce development, customization, and integration, as well as experience working with various Salesforce modules and technologies. You will work closely with business stakeholders and Salesforce Architect to translate complex requirements into actionable technical specifications, while integrating Salesforce with other DT enterprise systems to ensure end-to-end process efficiency.

Expedition Expectations

Business Process Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes, analyze pain points, and design Salesforce solutions that streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
Design and configure Salesforce modules to meet specific business needs.
Design, develop, deploy and maintain custom objects, workflows, triggers, and reports that reflect business process solutions and enhance decision-making. Ability to design and develop custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components, tailored to optimize business functions.
Process Automation: Implement automations (e.g., workflows, Process Builder, and Flow) to reduce manual work and improve business process efficiency.
Business Requirements Translation: Lead discussions with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with broader enterprise architecture.
Integration of Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs, supporting seamless data flow across platforms and business processes.
Optimize and maintain existing Salesforce solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Continuous Improvement: Lead process re-engineering initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve and scale existing Salesforce solutions.
Ensure quality by conducting unit, integration, and performance testing to ensure code quality and business process alignment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (administrators, project managers, and stakeholders) to ensure that Salesforce solutions support and optimize business workflows.
Manage deployments from development to production environments using version control tools like Git, ensuring alignment with business change management processes.
Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and new features, recommending and implementing enhancements to improve business processes.

Passport to Success

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in Salesforce development with proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and Lightning, specifically in business process optimization.
Salesforce certifications (Developer or Advanced Developer preferred).
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and how to align technical solutions with business process improvements.
Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment processes, focusing on how solutions integrate within larger business processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex business requirements and design effective Salesforce solutions.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and best practices for Salesforce implementation, focusing on delivering iterative business solutions.
Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems and web services, ensuring cohesive business processes across platforms.
Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or Salesforce Certified System Architect preferred.

Going the Extra Mile

Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud, or other equivalent platforms used to design solutions that streamline sales, customer service, or marketing processes.
Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ or other advanced Salesforce products, with a focus on solving complex business challenges.
