This position is fully remote.

Expedition Expectations

As a key member of the Human Resources team, the Sr Compensation Analyst, will be responsible for company-wide compensation programs, including compensation strategy and design to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with organizational goals.

  • Compensation Management
    1. Compensation Policy Development: Develop and maintain compensation policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
    2. Job Descriptions: Create and maintain detailed job descriptions to support job evaluation and compensation decisions.
    3. Job Evaluation: Lead job evaluation processes to ensure accurate exemption status, job classifications, and appropriate compensation levels. Design and maintain career ladder structure for multiple job families and functions.
    4. Salary Structure: Design and maintain salary structures, ensuring they are equitable, transparent, and scalable to support organizational growth.
    5. Pay Equity Analysis: Conduct pay equity analyses to ensure fairness and compliance with equal pay regulations.
    6. Variable Pay Programs: Develop, implement, and manage variable pay programs, including bonuses, incentives, and commission structures, to drive performance and reward achievement.
    7. Long-Term Incentive Programs: Work closely with CEO and CPO to align long-term incentive programs for a private organization.
    8. Performance Management: Integrate overall performance management into compensation strategies to support employee development, drive a pay-for-performance culture, and align to organizational goals. Oversee the merit increase process, including setting guidelines and managing budget allocations.

Going the Extra Mile

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in compensation analysis with a demonstrated track record of success in compensation strategy and design.
  • In-depth knowledge of best practices, market trends, and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and total rewards software.
  • Advanced Microsoft Suite skills (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
