Leisure Air Desk Advisor – Remote

We are looking for someone with proven ticketing skills to work with leisure agents who request air tickets for their clients. A strong ticketing sales agent with at least 5 years GDS experience (Sabre) is needed for a national leisure support role

This position is fully remote from within the US

Expedition Expectations

• Respond to written requests in timely fashion
• Issue domestic and international tickets for leisure agents/ICs
• Issue exchanges and partial refunds when needed
• Leisure group ticketing
• Look for lowest fares and research airline contracts for negotiated commissions
• Coordinate seat assignments
• Use ARC Memo Manager for debit memo research, resolution and reduction of memos for leisure team

Passport to Success

• 5+ years travel agency experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business education
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
• GDS Experience with Sabre and/or Apollo
• Demonstrated professional customer service skills
• Pragmatic and self-disciplined
• Capability of maintaining a favorable company image when interfacing with outside sources
• Proven pursuit of learning and self-development
• Ability to manage responsibilities in a manner to result in lower costs and better efficiencies for the company
• Ability to demonstrate personal and organizational integrity
• Capability of working in a team environment supporting management and staff, following policies, providing feedback, assisting in special projects, and taking on additional responsibility
• Effective oral and written communications skills
• Organizational skills that result in high productivity
