Echodyne is seeking a Senior Systems Integration, Test & Verification (SITV) Engineer to join our fast-growing team.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Senior Systems Integration, Test & Verification (SITV) Engineer with a strong digital electronics and embedded systems background to support development and delivery of advanced, ruggedized systems. This role is ideal for a hardware-minded systems engineer who serves as the technical glue between digital hardware, firmware, signal processing, and system-level performance.
You will act as the embedded systems subject matter expert, leading integration, debug, and verification efforts across networking, digital signal processing, rugged computing platforms, and mixed-signal devices. This role will report to the Director of Test.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead system integration, test, and verification for embedded digital electronic systems
- Serve as the technical expert for embedded systems, including:
- Networking and high-speed data interfaces
- Digital signal processing pipelines
- Ruggedized and edge computing platforms
- Mixed-signal devices (ADCs, DACs, clocking, power, sensors)
- Integrate and debug complex systems spanning:
- FPGAs, SoCs, CPUs, and GPUs
- Embedded firmware and low-level software
- Digital, analog, and RF-adjacent subsystems
- Define system-level test strategies, test plans, and verification methods
- Develop and execute integration and verification tests in lab and field environments
- Diagnose and resolve system issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and software tools
- Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, software, and systems engineering teams
- Support performance characterization, reliability testing, and production readiness
- Document test setups, results, and root-cause analyses clearly and thoroughly
- Support customer demonstrations, acceptance testing, and issue resolution as needed
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- Strong hands-on experience with digital electronics and embedded systems
- Practical expertise in one or more of the following:
- Networking protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, time-sensitive networking, or similar)
- Digital signal processing systems and data flows
- Embedded Linux or RTOS-based systems
- FPGAs, SoCs, or mixed CPU/FPGA architectures
- Mixed-signal devices and board-level integration
- Proven ability to debug complex system-level issues across hardware and software
- Comfortable working in lab environments with test and debug equipment
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills
DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
(Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills)
- Experience with ruggedized or military-grade embedded systems
- Background in defense, aerospace, radar, sensors, or high-reliability systems
- Familiarity with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, JESD204, LVDS, SERDES, similar)
- Experience supporting environmental, EMI/EMC, or qualification testing
- Experience transitioning systems from development to production
- Active or previously held U.S. security clearance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in systems integration, test, and verification of embedded or digital electronic systems

WHAT WE OFFER
The pay range for this position is $137,196 - $205,382 annually.
