Account Manager
We're seeking a motivated and energetic Account Manager to join our sales team. You will be responsible for supporting our global client base and ensuring customer success and retention. Tasks will include building relationships with key enterprise and global associations, working with the product team to align client requests with the product roadmap, negotiating contracts with multiple stakeholders, and reducing churn. You will be selling a world-class platform that will help organizations allow attendees to return safely, and maximize their experience.
This is a full-time position and can be based anywhere in Canada (the team is based in Vancouver, BC working remotely). Please note that we can only consider candidates who reside in Canada with valid working status.

What You'll Do

  • Build relationships with our customers and understand their event goals
  • Reduce customer churn
  • Communicate Eventbase’s product value proposition to customers based on an understanding of their current and future needs
  • Conduct online presentations and demonstrations to customers
  • Help drive the product roadmap through customer insights
  • Be an expert and influencer in the Hybrid and in person event industry
  • Understand the event technology landscape
  • Collaborate with our Solution Engineer team to scope and quote custom features and determine technical requirements
  • Create Proposals, Statement of Works and Service Agreement contracts
  • Handle negotiation conversations with clients
  • Be able to have conversations with multiple stakeholders internally and externally
  • Work closely with our Producer team on project scoping and project hand-off upon closing
  • Provide regular opportunity pipeline and forecast updates
  • Represent Eventbase at industry trade shows and conferences

What You Bring

  • Experience with selling technology solutions and/or applications in a B2B environment
  • Event industry experience is considered an asset
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding targets in an account manager role
  • A genuine interest in mobile technology
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where change is the only constant
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency using a CRM (Salesforce)
  • Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong team player with a positive, “go-getter” attitude
  • Ability and willingness to travel (10-20%) to the United States (once it’s safe to do so)
