The Flexe Operations team is looking for an Operations and Systems Coordinator to join our department. This team works with customers that have enlisted Flexe to help supplement or outsource their fulfillment operations for eCommerce and retail distribution. We provide software and logistics support to enable efficient and high quality execution from our warehouse partners on behalf of our customers. An ideal candidate is knowledgeable about the inner workings of supply chain and warehousing, but also comfortable communicating to customers and team members at all levels, and has a solution oriented mindset.

As an Operations and Systems Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the day to day operations of accounts within a portfolio of customers managed by your assigned team. You will be expected to become an expert user of the Flexe platform, supporting process and product improvement initiatives specific to your team. You will become proficient in order management, and warehouse management functions using the Flexe platform, occasionally supporting software demo’s for internal and external users.

Responsibilities:

  • (50%) Manage day to day communication with warehouse operators and clients accounts across multiple sites and time zones. Respond to emails from client or warehouse to keep them up to date and play “switchboard operator”, routing requests to the appropriate contact.
  • (30%) Guide operational conversations related to warehousing and order fulfillment, and collaborate with internal teams. Prepare users (warehouse operators and clients) for adoption of new software rollouts on the Flexe platform. Support Flexe onboarding team for new warehouses as needed.
  • (5%) Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to management and account owners. Present findings, progress, and improvement initiatives in meetings.
  • (5%) Create internal and external facing SOPs.
  • (10%) Support resolution of inventory related problems; for example incorrect inventory adjustments, inventory disposal for damaged/expired goods, special inventory handling projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with the operations, customer service, or management of a warehouse.
  • Working knowledge of shipping and transportation industry.
  • Experience working in Microsoft Office programs, G Suite, and warehouse management systems.
  • A demonstrated ability to create, publish, and administer SOPs, record training videos.
  • Demonstrate ability to work on multiple assignments effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A willingness to learn new technology and processes (E.g. SQL, Google Data Studio, Lessonly, etc.) is highly valued.
  • Experience with Zendesk is a plus.
The hourly rate for this role is $29.23 to $34.09 depending, in part, on candidate location. Recruiting will confirm the specific range for the candidate location in the initial phone screen. All employees receive company equity as part of their compensation package. As part of our pay for performance based pay program, this role is eligible to potentially receive merit bonuses of up to 15% of base salary for exceeding expectations.
