iSpot.tv is seeking a Revenue Accountant to perform various corporate accounting functions. This position is ideal for an ambitious, experienced professional who seeks to join a growing organization. This position will also provide the opportunity to work with a skilled G&A team responsible for accounting, internal and external reporting, Revenue Recognition & Customer Billing. We have a product that is changing how brands, agencies, and networks measure and assess the impact of TV advertising campaigns. Our software uses proprietary audio and video analysis to monitor and extract TV commercials, movie trailers and other promotional content from TV. At the same time, our software analyzes consumer interactions with TV ads on the digital screen across search, video and social. Interactions are matched with specific ads and attributed back to airings on TV.

Position Description:

Assist with month end closing process and preparation of financial statements for CFO’s review, firm’s partners and outside auditors
Revenue Recognition, reading contracts and making sure proper revenue rules are followed according to ASC606
Supervision/Assist of accounts receivable billing process
Knowledge of accruals and ability to develop Month End Schedules.
Tax compliance support as needed for various state reporting (Sales and Use Tax).
Maintenance of various spreadsheets to support financial transactions and analysis of various expenses.
Assist in preparation of audit work papers for year-end audits with outside auditors.
Assist company in executing company policies and compliance procedures
Other corporate accounting duties or supervision of duties as assigned.
Ability to analyze problems, develop/recommend options and resolve issues
Assist with other projects as needed

Excellent skills in MS Excel and Word. Advanced knowledge in Excel understanding concepts of databases, filtering data, use of mathematical, logical, statistical and financial functions a plus.
Knowledge of Netsuite Accounting software.
Tax experience in some general partnership or corporate tax laws/preparation a plus.
Real Estate Accounting or experience a plus. Qualifications
BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required
3+ years’ experience with significant accounting responsibilities
Public accounting experience in auditing or tax a plus.

Requirements:

3-5+ years of Accounts Payable/Accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance or Accounting preferred
NetSuite experience highly preferred
Salesforce Experience highly preferred
SaaS Experience highly preferred
Knowledge and Experience with current US GAAP standards required
Knowledge of accruals and preparing monthly balance sheet supporting schedules
Strong work ethic and drive to seek continual professional development
Must be well organized, have the ability to prioritize, be a self-starter and comfortable communicating with Vendors
Exceptional attention to detail, professional attitude, reliable
Proficient in Excel (Advanced) and Word, 10-key by touch,
Possess strong organizational and time management skills
Strong problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and financial statements
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to interact with employees and related stakeholders in a professional manner
Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately

Target cash compensation range: $84,000- 103,000 USD Annually

We are committed to providing competitive, market-informed compensation. The cash compensation above includes base salary, variable commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all full time iSpotters are eligible to participate in iSpot’s equity plan to receive stock options. Non-exempt roles will also be eligible for (pre-approved) overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are influenced by different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Hybrid & Flexible Workplace Policy

iSpot supports a hybrid and flexible workplace. Depending on location and work responsibilities, employees may be designated as full-time or part-time office-based or a fully remote employee. A hybrid work schedule indicates that you work in the office some days and work from home other days. The best hybrid workplaces allow for flexibility while also encouraging consistency.

Those local or living in surrounding areas to one of our offices (Bellevue, WA; El Segundo, CA; New York, NY) will work a hybrid schedule, coming into their local office 1-3 days a week. While those in a role, not office-based and located further away from our offices, will work a fully remote schedule.
