We are looking for a customer-centric and expert Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team at Jama Software supporting our EMEA Sales team! As a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect, you will play a meaningful role in crafting and implementing groundbreaking solutions that meet our clients' business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and product development, to ensure seamless integration of our products and services. We are looking for a candidate who is based in Hungary, Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, or the United Kingdom with a preference for a candidate based in Germany.

What You'll Do:

  • Meet with clients and prospects in a pre-sales capacity or technical discovery to understand their challenges and needs as well as provide general and customized demos to highlight Jama Software’s capabilities.
  • Complete RFP/RFIs, security questionnaires, and other required technical responses as part of the sales process.
  • Understand how Jama Software can support various industry verticals (ISO26262, ASPICE, ARP4754, DO128, DO254).
  • Be the “voice of the client” and communicate their needs and expectations to the product development team.
  • Establish yourself as the technical “go to” person for the Sales team and be viewed as a “thought leader” to our clients and recommend crafting solutions to their business challenges.
  • Take direction from the pre-sales SA to strategize on customized solutions and offerings.
  • Work with consultants to transition projects from pre-sales to post-sales delivery.

What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in pre-sales or solutions engineering background in enterprise SaaS sales.
  • 1+ years of experience with Agile, Lean, Kanban, SAFe, and other product engineering and delivery methodologies.
  • 1+ years of experience with sales methodology and pipeline management.
  • Willing to travel occasionally for key customer engagements.
  • Experience in one or more of our key verticals: Aerospace and Defense, Automotive and Semiconductor, Medical Device, Industrial Consumer Electronics, and SoftTech industries.
  • Familiar with application lifecycle management offerings and experience working in product development.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical collaborators.
  • Able to “think on your feet” and thoughtfully answer customer questions.
  • Able to absorb technical concepts and learn quickly.
  • Adaptable with a positive demeanor and phenomenal teammate.
  • Comfortable with building virtual relationships.

Nice to Have:

  • Proficient in German both spoken and written.
  • Familiarity with Jira and SYML Modeling tools.
