Observe is a modern observability platform that helps engineering teams quickly detect, understand, and resolve issues across distributed systems. It ingests and processes massive volumes of telemetry—logs, metrics, traces, and more—to provide a unified, scalable view of system behavior. Designed for high performance and flexibility, Observe supports a wide range of use cases from incident response to performance monitoring. The company was founded by veterans of Snowflake and Splunk and is trusted by leading enterprises like Capital One and Topgolf.
The mission of Observe's AI team is to make oncall engineers 10× more efficient at resolving production issues and to make troubleshooting a delightful experience. We build products leveraging LLMs to connect the dots in a massive amount of data and provide actionable insights to reduce mean-time-to-resolution (MTTR).
Design and prototype AI-driven features that help engineers triage, debug, and resolve incidents faster.
Build services that combine observability data with search and retrieval techniques to provide relevant, contextual answers.
Rapidly iterate on ideas and experiments—ship MVPs, test hypotheses, and refine based on user feedback.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers across Observe to deliver real impact to users.
Bring strong product intuition and user empathy to every stage of development.
Strong programming and prototyping skills; comfortable with Python, javascript, or Go.
Passion for fast iteration, experimentation, and delivering value to users.
Strong product sense and bias for action—you thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Experience working on search, agentic systems, or AI/ML.
Familiarity with LLMs and their application in real-world systems.
Note for new grads: Excited to start your career in AI and observability? We love working with curious, fast-learning engineers early in their journey. If you’re eager to build real products and move fast, we want to hear from you!
