Who We Are

We’re building OpenHands, an open-source AI platform that empowers engineering teams to accelerate development, automate workflows, and integrate intelligent coding assistance into real-world software delivery.

We are hiring Members of the Technical Staff on our agent team, which is in charge of research and development activities for OpenHands

What You’ll Do

• Incorporating the best research work on agents and code generation into the OpenHands framework

• Performing novel improvements in areas of interest to improve agent performance and efficiency

• Running and implementing evaluations to ensure agent quality

• Implementing infrastructure related to evaluating or serving code generation agents

• Collaborating with the open-source community on research initiatives

What You Bring

• Experience in some of the following areas:

• Significant research in LLM-based agents, code generation, or software engineering

• Practical agent engineering experience, including harness development, training, evaluation, and deployment

• Experience with use of agents in enterprise settings

• Experience in collaborative development of AI related projects, particularly open source
