We’re looking for an SDET Engineer to help us design, build, and scale our test automation and quality practices. You’ll work closely with software engineers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure high confidence releases without slowing down development.

This is not a “throw it over the wall” QA role. You’ll be embedded with the engineering team and expected to contribute technically, think critically about risk, and help shape how quality is built into our SDLC. Apply today!

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with developers early in the development cycle to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
  • Write high-quality, maintainable test code using modern tools and languages
  • Identify gaps in test coverage and proactively improve reliability and release confidence
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure tests run efficiently and consistently
  • Perform exploratory testing and risk-based testing where automation is not sufficient
  • Help establish and evolve quality best practices suitable for a fast-moving startup

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience as an SDET, QA Engineer, or Software Engineer in Test
  • Strong programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or similar)
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, RestAssured, pytest, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of API testing, test data management, and test environments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI)
  • Experience testing SaaS, web-based, or cloud-native applications
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and limited process overhead
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Passionate team player with experience working with offshore teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Experience with Performance Testing
  • Experience with Github actions, ArgoCD, and kubernetes
  • Prior experience helping scale QA practices from early-stage to growth-stage teams
  • Prior experience in cybersecurity or pentesting
  • Familiarity with PromptFoo

Benefits

  • Competitive wellness benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability and Life
  • 401(k)
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Flexible work schedule - WFH, WFO
  • Flexible Time Off
  • World Class Culture
