About the Position:
Build products and bring to market features that allow customers to Scale Anywhere with Qumulo.
We are looking for an experienced product manager to lead our efforts around Qumulo’s cloud-based hybrid storage offerings with major cloud providers. Qumulo product managers will be working closely with our contacts in cloud providers, customers, Sales, Engineering, and collaborating heavily with GTM stakeholders. Responsibilities
AS A SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER AT QUMULO, YOU WILL:
- Evolve Qumulo’s product vision for the cloud by defining and refining features and services. The key focus area will be to Qumulo’s cloud storage offerings with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure)
- Execute on platform modernization/investment strategies based on strong understanding of diverse application workloads running on top of Qumulo
- Closely collaborate with several technology partners, in particular on roadmaps that build product on two major cloud partners (AWS and Azure)
- Work in a cross functional and collaborative role spanning several teams such as product, design, program managers, engineering, marketing, sales and CS.
- Manage programs and structure projects to ensure smooth execution of the product roadmap.
- Manage customer preview programs and engage in frequent conversations with customers both on site and in customer offices to understand their needs, gather feedback, and overall ensure that product direction is in tune with customer needs.
Qualifications
OUR IDEAL SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER WILL HAVE:
- Good understanding and desired experience working with core cloud services (examples: strong cloud networking background - Nginx/Envoy/load balancer/private link, Storage - S3/EBS/Azure Blob Storage/GCS and various cloud APIs)
- Experience generating and/or defining requirements for numerous reference architectures
- The ability to understand the breadth of our product line as well as the technical ability to drill into details on owned areas
- Prior experience defining a product vision and roadmap and managing incremental execution through successful launches
- Proven expertise working with, presenting to and managing communications with customers
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally across the company. Ability to thrive in the dynamic environment where multiple hats are expected to be worn, depending on the task at hand. That means flexibility as well when dealing with ambiguity
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a technical role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field or similar practical experience
BONUS POINTS FOR EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING
- Experience with managing cloud infrastructure powering managed service
- 8+ years experience working on cloud products
- An understanding in the area of data management, Big Data analytics, data warehousing and/or cloud technologies is a major plus
Key Benefits
The annual pay range for the role is USD $150,000 - $220,000. Individual pay depends on various factors, such as role level, relevant experience and skills, and location. Pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the pay range applicable at the time.
