About the Position

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is primarily responsible for generating new contacts to the sales funnel. Focus includes prospecting, research and continuous follow up to pass along qualified leads to other members of the sales team allowing for seamless customer outreach and conversion. Key stakeholders include the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team and Marketing, providing a unique opportunity to work cross functionally through the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Research contact data (phone numbers, email addresses, website address) of potential customers
  • Work on provided lists of leads from Marketing or Sales teams that may have missing data
  • Utilize multiple research tools and company systems
  • Provide quick results to help increase Qumulo’s Sales pipeline
  • Collaborate successfully with the SDR Team and Marketing to drive team-selling productivity.
  • Craft and send exclusive invitations to events targeting specific customer groups
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Role Requirements

  • At least 6 to 8 months of related experience preferred in enterprise IT sales or tele-prospecting (SaaS preferred).
  • Preferred experience with tools like SalesForce.com, Zoominfo, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to deliver results
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient at multitasking

The annual pay range for the role is USD $57,000 - $81,000.

Individual pay depends on various factors, such as role level, relevant experience and skills, and location. Pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the pay range applicable at the time.
