About the Role

We are looking for an engineering leader to establish and build out our SeekOut India Development Center (SIDC). SIDC is core to our strategy of enabling globally shared development of products and services leveraging the strongest talent across the globe. We are looking to rapidly scale out our presence in India - this is an exciting ground floor opportunity for a seasoned leader who is interested with the broad scope that comes with starting a development center.

In this role you will build out a world-class engineering organization that can drive end to end innovation and product development. Responsibilities include:

• Developing a talent strategy for engineering hiring in India
• Onboarding and ramping up a high performing engineering organization
• Provide technical leadership, with the ability to dive deep and provide the initial architecture and system design as appropriate until the team is established.
• Partnering closely with other global leaders to develop shared objectives and roadmaps
• Establish and build on SeekOut culture of high performance and kindness
• Coaching, mentoring and development of the team

What we are looking for

• 18+ years of Software Engineering experience with deep experience in Enterprise SaaS
• Extensive experience developing and scaling highly reliable cloud-native applications
• Track record of hiring and attracting strong talent including engineering managers and principal level engineers
• Proven success delivering business outcomes. Demonstrated ability to be a hands-on technical leader when appropriate – particularly when the team is scaling out.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with prior experience working with teams in the United States
• Experience cultivating inclusive and high-performance cultures
• Bachelor or Masters’ degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, related field or equivalent experience.
