What are we looking to add to our team?

Our Director of Human Resources will be a strategic, agile leader with experience in global startups and the technology sector. The ideal candidate is passionate about aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, brings a strong track record of operational excellence, and uses data and analytics to drive informed decisions. This role is a key partner to senior leadership, responsible for shaping and executing people strategies that scale with the organization and fuel business growth. To foster strong relationships and stay closely connected to our teams and evolving priorities, we expect the Director to work from our Bellevue, Washington office at least two days per week.

What you will be doing:

  • Partner with leaders across international offices and levels to align organizational structure with strategic goals and lead change initiatives that support smooth transitions during periods of growth and scaling.
  • Coach and support managers in navigating conversations around career growth, performance, compensation, and equity; identify and address performance challenges by evaluating issues, exploring solutions, and providing guidance to both managers and employees.
  • Own the administration, strategic planning, and implementation of benefits and compensation programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and a commitment to internal equity.
  • Leverage HR analytics to track progress, measure the effectiveness of initiatives, and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management to inform strategic HR decisions.
  • Oversee global recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the tech industry, fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Position and effectively articulate SeekOut’s international employer brand and value proposition with industry leaders.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with India and US government, state, and local employment laws and regulations; stay current on HR trends, best practices, and legal developments to recommend policy updates and communicate changes to leadership.

You will be a great match if you have:

  • 10+ years of HR experience, with a dedicated portion in startups or technology environments; experience in scaling global organizations is a plus.
  • Ability and desire to come into the Bellevue, Washington office 2+ days a week
  • Have led a lean HR team, balancing strategic leadership with operational execution and hands-on work.
  • Solid understanding of multiple human resource subject areas, including benefits, compensation, organizational design, employee relations, diversity & inclusion, immigration, and federal and state employment laws.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree in HR or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of HRIS and other HR systems with strong problem solving, reporting and analytical skills.

Base Salary Hiring Range:
$160,000 to $180,000 annually
