About the Role

As our Founding Sales Development Representative, you’ll be on the frontlines of growth at Shaped. You’ll use AI-powered tools to identify great-fit companies, craft creative outreach, and spark meaningful conversations with product, engineering, and growth leaders.

This is not an entry level position: we want someone with demonstrated success, who is looking for uncapped career growth potential.

We don’t just want someone who can follow our outbound playbook, we want someone smart, curious, and ambitious enough to elevate it.

What You’ll Do

  • North Star: Book qualified meetings that turn into real pipeline

  • Use your creative skills to make inroads within target accounts

  • Research accounts, identify high-intent signals, and run thoroughly relevant outbound campaigns across phone, email, LinkedIn, and more (we don’t believe in spray and pray)

  • Become an expert in AI-powered personalization so you can speak fluently with technical and non-technical buyers.

  • Collaborate closely in-person in our NYC office with the Head of Sales and Account Executives to iterate quickly on what works.

  • Learn every single day. This will be the steepest growth curve of your career.

Who You Are

  • You have 1+ year of SDR experience with proven success outperforming peers (however if you have other relevant experience in marketing, sales, or growth and have conviction you’re the right fit, we still want to hear from you)

  • You’re organized and data driven. It’s not enough to get success, we also need to track what’s working so that we can double down

  • You’re curious, competitive, and gritty. You’re motivated by the chase and don’t fold on the first “no”

  • You write and communicate clearly, and you’re not afraid to be bold or funny in your outreach

  • You’re excited about AI and want to work with a team shaping how it gets adopted in the real world.

Bonus Points

  • You’ve sold to product, data, or engineering personas

  • You’ve worked in SaaS or startups before

  • You’ve used tools like HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, along with the new generation of AI-powered GTM tools
