What you'll own

  • Develop automation for testing Spotnana services and applications
  • Support automation frameworks for the entire organization
  • Define and monitor quality assurance metrics for continuous quality & process improvements
  • Focussed on Automation and continuously working on removing manual dependencies from the systems, innovating new methods to optimize testing cycles
  • Creation of central quality tools and frameworks for better optimization of deliverables
  • Estimating efforts, identifying risks, devising mitigation, and meeting project schedules
  • Communicating clearly with internal and external stakeholders regarding progress, roadblocks, and timelines
  • Leading by example and keeping enthusiasm high in tight-deadline situations
  • Oversee technical scope and design of projects to ensure that projects deliver the expected value on time and with high quality
  • Work closely with management to identify risks, solve problems, and maintain progress, and target online deliveries with high-quality benchmarks

Experience to bring with you

  • Bachelor’s or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Deep experience with automation frameworks such as Karate, WebDriver, Cypress
  • Should have worked on developing automation tools like Playwright or frameworks to test Big Data, Rest APIs, microservices, data migration, failover mechanism, blue-green setups
  • Must have hands-on experience with Python
  • Good knowledge on DevOps tooling and processes
  • Excellent understanding of the REST APIs and their usage
  • Excellent Knowledge of SQL and/or Hive query scripting
  • Experience in working or testing with distributed architecture (eg. Aerospike, DynamoDB, Elastic Search, Hadoop, Cassandra, Kafka, Data lake, etc..)
  • Experience with Amazon AWS or similar cloud providers
  • Ability to build Performance frameworks from the ground up
  • Experience in industry best practices in SW development processes: Unit testing, code coverage, OO design, code quality, automation, code reviews, etc.
  • Good coding skills and debugging skills
  • Problem-solving capabilities, and solution provider
  • Solving complex testing challenges and translating the same to the team
  • Ability to collaborate and work well with others at all levels in the organization
  • Must be self-directed and detail-oriented
  • Can do attitude
  • Must be willing and able to work in an open office environment in Miami, FL - This is not a remote-eligible role

Spotnana strives to offer fair, industry-competitive and equitable compensation. Our approach holistically assesses total compensation, including cash, company equity and comprehensive benefits. Our market-based compensation approach uses data from trusted third party compensation sources to set salary ranges that are thoughtful and consistent with the role, industry, company size, and internal equity of our team. Each employee is paid within the minimum and maximum of their position’s compensation range based on their skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related specifications.

The annual cash compensation for this role is: $100,000 - $130,000
