How you'll make an impact

As the Director of Product Management - Infrastructure & Platform, you will spearhead the creation of our travel-as-a-service platform, building the foundation upon which all future travel companies will stand. You will advocate for our partners and their developers, empowering them to create innovative new travel solutions for their own customers, and helping to move the entire travel industry forward. This position requires technical expertise, fluency in creating API-first products, a hands-on approach, and the ability to move quickly to meet our ambitious goals.

What you'll own:

  • Lead the development of our travel-as-a-service platform, building API-first solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
  • Create a seamless integration process for third-parties who want to leverage our technology to build their own travel offerings.
  • Build a best in class suite of tools for travel management companies to help them drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of scalable and secure API architectures, ensuring reliability and performance for mission-critical systems.
  • Develop an industry leading payments infrastructure to facilitate the transfer of funds between disparate systems and countries across the globe.
  • Engage with current and prospective customers to understand their priorities, current problems, and opportunities for partnership.
  • Lead, manage, and coach a group of Product Managers, fostering a culture of continuous feedback and career development.

Experience to bring with you:

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a SaaS or technology product environment - startup and travel experience are a plus.
  • Proven experience developing and launching API-first product offerings, with a deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and developer experience best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of payments processing systems, including payment gateways, merchant accounts, and PCI compliance requirements.
  • Experience leading geographically diverse teams to success through clear communication, alignment, and effective people management strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to take on a player/coach leadership role and roll up your sleeves.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and make informed decisions under pressure, considering trade-offs and risks to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into actionable product initiatives, balancing short-term needs with long-term objectives.
  • Ability to work from our New York City office in a hybrid structure - this is not a remote eligible position

Spotnana strives to be a fair, industry-competitive, and equitable compensation. Our approach holistically assesses total compensation, including cash, company equity and comprehensive benefits. Our market-based compensation approach uses data from trusted third-party compensation sources to set salary ranges that are thoughtful and consistent with the role, industry, company size, and internal equity of our team. Each employee is paid within the minimum and maximum of their position’s compensation range based on their skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related specifications.

The annual cash compensation for this role is: $180k - $240k (Plus benefits and equity)
