Who We Are
Temporal is an open source programming model that can simplify code, make applications more reliable, and help developers focus on the important things like delivering features faster. Our amazing user community provides us with real-time feedback and contributions to improve the developer experience everywhere.
Backed by top VC firms, we have built a team of professionals from various successful start-ups and well-known technology companies. Together, we collaborate cross-functionally, engage with and support our users to improve the developer experience, deliver world-class open-source software, and enhance our commercial SaaS platform.
Temporal is growing and working towards building the best community. We are looking for those who share our values, challenge 'standard' thinking, and want to influence our future. If you have a passion for helping developer communities, open-source software, and want to be a part of our amazing team, we'd love to hear from you!
Temporal is searching for a leader of its Developer Relations and Community team. Temporal is an open-source durable execution system: a platform built by developers for developers. Four years after the project’s founding, Temporal is used by more than 150,000 backend developers on a weekly basis to build, deploy and run some of the world’s most valuable services and applications. The Developer Relations & Community team is an essential pillar of Temporal’s strategy to bring durable execution to the next 10 million developers.
The mission of the Developer Relations team is to find and engage with software developers who have the skills and requirements to benefit from Temporal but don’t yet know of Temporal or the power of durable execution. To do this, the Developer Relations team:

- Engages in live events (speaking at 3rd party events, facilitating Temporal meetups)
- Elevates the successes of Temporal users and champions
In each case, the team’s goal is to build a bridge that maps the technologies, practices and patterns that a developer already knows to the simpler, easier & more reliable way to develop with Temporal.
