Temporal Technologies develops and distributes an open-source, durable execution platform that helps engineers write and run reliable long-running workflows in software applications. Its technology preserves application state and automatically handles retries, error conditions, and complex logic so developers can focus on business requirements rather than infrastructure challenges. Temporal supports multiple programming languages and can be self-hosted or used via its managed service, enabling scalable orchestration of tasks in distributed systems. The platform is used to coordinate processes such as financial transactions, infrastructure workflows, and AI pipelines, and provides visibility into execution states to aid troubleshooting and maintenance.
