What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a Principal Solutions Engineer who thrives at the intersection of creativity, technology, and storytelling. In this role, you’ll collaborate with prospective customers to fully identify and document the Typeface solution, thus helping them understand not only how our platform works, but why it transforms their content operations.

You’ll act as both a trusted advisor and a senior technologist—translating marketing and brand challenges into well define solutions that show how Typeface drives measurable impact across enterprise content workflows. This role reports to the Senior Director of Solutions Engineering and is open to candidates based anywhere in the US or EMEA.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success to lead solution discovery conversations and document the solution design and solution architecture.
• Architect workflows and integrations that align Typeface with customers’ creative, marketing, and technology ecosystems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to fully identify and validate the solution design.
• Build reusable assets and playbooks that enhance the overall pre-sales and customer experience.

What You’ll Bring

• 10+ years of experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or software engineering, ideally within a SaaS company, creative agency, or marketing technology organization.
• An understanding of AI technologies, APIs, and integrations, and an ability to communicate their value to both business and technical stakeholders.
• Exceptional presentation and solution building skills—you can translate complex ideas into engaging, business-relevant solution designs.
• Experience leading technical evaluations and architecture design conversations with prospective customers and their technical teams.
• A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to balance creativity and technical precision.
• Willingness to travel periodically for customer meetings, events, and internal collaboration sessions.

Base Salary
The range for this role is $220,000-$260,000 OTE. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process.
