Yoodli is a private, personalized and AI powered communication coach. Our dream is to help people around the world improve their communication skills without feeling judged. We’ve raised $7M+ in seed funding from leading investors such as Madrona, AI2, Cercano and other industry experts. Our work has been featured in outlets including WSJ, Inc., and Geekwire. We recently announced a partnership with Toastmasters International to bring AI powered speech coaching to 300k+ members globally. We’re a mission focused and fast growing startup based out of the Allen AI Institute in Seattle. The team includes alumni from GoogleX, Apple, Intuit among others. About you:
You care deeply about helping people communicate better. You’re obsessed with the user experience and believe that everything stems from solving the user problem. You pay deep attention to detail, enjoy wearing several hats at once, and thrive in uncertain and dynamic environments. The thought of building a product from 0 to 1 motivates you! As a senior product designer, you’re excited to experiment and iterate at a rapid pace and delve into the details while also zooming out and building our long term design strategy.
Responsibilities:
Work across product and engineering to define and drive key UI/UX initiatives and overall design strategy
Conceptualize, prototype, and build end-to-end design workflows across multiple surfaces (web, mobile etc.)
Lead customer research calls to iterate on user flows and A/B test new features
Build our design philosophy - ensure the entire product adheres to our design framework
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 4 years (for senior), 8 years (for higher levels) of product design experience in a fast-paced, startup environment
Experience designing production-quality UI/UX workflows. This includes the information architecture, user flows, and wireframes
Fluency in industry-standard design tools and frameworks such as Figma, Material UI
A portfolio consisting of refined product design case studies and projects
Clear communication skills and ability to work well with non-designers (especially business, product, and engineering)
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at once
Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
Located in the greater Seattle area, with the ability to come into the office at least 3 days a week
