About the Role
This isn’t a typical call center seat. We’re looking for a Customer Care Specialistl — someone who brings warmth, expertise, and professionalism to each interaction. We Care deeply about food quality and where food comes from, and we hope you do too.
Based at our Scranton, PA fulfillment center, you’ll be the primary point of contact for Crowd Cow’s direct customers and our 3PL clients, delivering personalized, high-touch service that turns first-time buyers into lifelong fans. You’ll also play an active role in growing our seasonal gifting business — helping guide customers and corporate buyers through curated selections for every occasion.
This role blends exceptional customer service, consultative sales, and love of a great steak.

A Customer Champion
You deliver personalized, high-quality customer service across email, SMS, and social channels. You go the extra mile for both direct customers and 3PL partners, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the Crowd Cow standard. You are passionate about customer service and understand what “great” looks like in eCommerce. You communicate clearly and warmly, with a proactive, solutions-first attitude.
Tech Savvy
You’ll harness our AI-enabled customer listening tools to spot trends, anticipate needs, and continuously elevate the customer experience. You have Zendesk experience and Looker is a plus.
Escalation Capable
When things get complicated, you step in with calm and care — resolving complex issues, maintaining trust, and turning difficult moments into opportunities to build loyalty.
A Product Consultant
You’ll help grow our seasonal gifting program by guiding customers and corporate clients through our corporate gifting and gift card sales program - helping with product selections tailored to needs and budgets. Having some experience in a sales or consultative role is a plus.
Process & Leadership Oriented
You analyze data, identify friction points, and propose solutions that make the team sharper and the customer experience smoother. You’re always looking for a better way. And while to start you won’t have direct reports, you’ll naturally become a go-to for colleagues — sharing knowledge, modeling best practices, and contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture.
A Cross-Functional Collaborator
You’ll work across departments to deepen your product knowledge and pitch in on inventory receiving, quality assurance, and administrative tasks as needed.
